About Elgin

I got my start in broadcast advertising back in 2008 — right in the middle of one of the worst economic downturns in modern history. While most people were tightening their belts, I was knocking on doors in South Bend, Indiana, helping small businesses get on local television for the very first time. I worked for both the local CBS and ABC affiliates, learning the game from the inside and discovering something that still holds true today: when times get tough, advertising heats up.

Seventeen years later, here we are in 2025 — and it feels a lot like 2008 all over again. Prices are high, budgets are tight, and businesses are scrambling for visibility. But here’s the good news: television has never been more affordable or more effective. And when you mix that power with the precision of digital and the storytelling of video, you’ve got a formula that moves people — and grows business.

At Elgin Ads, everything I do revolves around video. Whether it’s a 15-second TV spot, a YouTube pre-roll, a connected-TV campaign, or a short-form social clip, my goal is the same: to create messages that cut through the noise and deliver measurable results.

Over the past 17 years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients — from political campaigns and national nonprofits to local mom-and-pop shops trying to compete with the big guys. I’ve been on both sides of the camera, writing, producing, and voicing ads that ran across multiple markets.

Today, my focus is simple: bring real advertising back — the kind that sells, not just scrolls.

Real Advertising. Real Results.
